Les Dishroon & Chuck Kraft
Made of microfiber and body fur, this fly is deceptively simple (not easy to tie). It provides a consistent profile from any angle (doesn't "puff up" like some feather flies), has an erratic darting action, and is "easy to eat" because of its flexible, compressible material. It has been very effective on stripers, bluefish, albacore, snook, and redfish, as well as trout and bass. Attach tippet to fly with a no-slip mono loop knot for best action. Click here to see the tying instructions for the Paradox, which feature this type of knot. Tied on Gamakatsu #1 hooks.Click here to learn more about the Gamakatsu hooks used for the Paradox.
