Originally designed as a fly-rod Pig-n-Jig for smallmouth and largemouth bass (and it has been very successful for this), this pattern has also proven really outstanding for large brown trout and as a saltwater crustacean imitation. Bonefish and redfish eat them readily. Tied on Mustad Hooks in sizes 2, 4 and 6.

TAN
This fly works great from South America to Canada. It is a great crab and shrimp imitation pattern that works especially well in clear water.

OLIVE
This color is great for Brown Trout, Smallmouth Bass and others. It is also a good saltwater pattern.

BROWN
This is a good multispecies color that will work anytime but fishes best in clearwater. It is equally good in both fresh and saltwater.

BLUE/BLACK
Blue works the best of all the colors in the dirtiest of water. It works great for Steelheads, Bass and Trout .

BLACK
Black is a universal color, great for dirty water conditions. Good for Bass especially.
